Step-By-Step Directions

FROM THE NORTH — Coming from Whitefish, Eureka, or the Canadian Border

  • Start on US Highway 93 South heading toward Kalispell from Whitefish (approximately 14 miles north). 
  • Continue south on US-93 through the Whitefish corridor and past the Stillwater State Forest area. 
  • Watch for Schrade Road on your right — this is your cue that Barkley Ridge Trail is just ahead. 
  • Turn left (east) onto Barkley Ridge Trail — the road will be on your left side as you're heading southbound. 
  • Follow Barkley Ridge Trail a short distance to the end of the cul-de-sac. 
  • Stillwater Storage (135 Barkley Ridge Trail) will be on your right.

FROM THE SOUTH — Coming from Missoula, Polson, or Bigfork

  • From Missoula: Take US Highway 93 North approximately 117 miles toward Kalispell. 
  • From Polson/Bigfork: Take US-93 North or MT-35 North along the west or east shore of Flathead Lake, then connect to US-93 North at Kalispell. 
  • Pass through downtown Kalispell, continuing north on US-93 (also known as Main Street/Sunset Blvd through town, or use the US-93 Alternate Bypass to avoid downtown traffic). 
  • Continue north on US-93 past the city limits. 
  • Pass the Majestic Valley Arena on your left. 
  • Pass Schrade Road on your right. 
  • Turn right (east) onto Barkley Ridge Trail. 
  • Follow Barkley Ridge Trail to the end — Stillwater Storage is on your left.

FROM THE EAST — Coming from Great Falls, Cut Bank, or Glacier National Park

  • From Great Falls: Take US-87 North to US-2 West through Browning and Cut Bank toward Kalispell. 
  • From Glacier National Park (East Glacier/St. Mary): Take US-2 West or Going-to-the-Sun Road west, then head to US-2 West toward Kalispell. 
  • Enter Kalispell on US-2 West (also known as East Idaho Street / US-2). 
  • At the intersection of US-2 and US-93, take US-93 North toward Whitefish. 
  • Continue north on US-93 out of downtown Kalispell. 
  • Pass the Majestic Valley Arena on your left. 
  • Pass Schrade Road on your right. 
  • Turn right (east) onto Barkley Ridge Trail. 
  • Drive to the end of the road — Stillwater Storage will be on your left.

FROM THE WEST — Coming from Spokane, Sandpoint (Idaho), or Libby

  • From Spokane, WA: Take US-2 East through Sandpoint, ID, then US-2 East continuing into Montana toward Libby and Kalispell.
  • From Libby, MT: Take US-2 East approximately 70 miles toward Kalispell. 
  • Enter Kalispell on US-2 East — follow signs for US-93 North / Whitefish. 
  • Connect to US-93 North at the major US-2/US-93 junction in Kalispell. 
  • Head north on US-93 out of Kalispell city limits. 
  • Pass the Majestic Valley Arena on your left. 
  • Pass Schrade Road on your right. 
  • Turn right (east) onto Barkley Ridge Trail. 
  • Proceed to the end of Barkley Ridge Trail — Stillwater Storage is on your left.
